The update has tweaked the design of the app and now the ‘Search‘ option will be at the top of the navigation bar. This search option was previously hidden in the hamburger menu. The hamburger menu at the left corner of the Google Calendar app had options like Schedule, Day, 3 Days, Week, Month, and finally the search option. Looking up an event in the calendar was a bit troublesome due to its placement in the app. With its new position at the top, it will be much easier for users to search for an event like a wedding, a birthday, or an important party. Now, all a user has to do is open the Google Calendar app and tap on the ‘Search’ option indicated by a magnifying glass at the top of the taskbar.
